Fred Meyer B2G1 Sony Blu-Rays

Didn't see this posted yet. Fred Meyer ad this week shows the following Sony Blu-Ray titles included in a Buy 2 Get 1 Free deal.

I'd imagine that there could be more titles included since it says "Sony Blu-Ray Movies".

There regular Blu-Ray prices usually range from $19.99 - $29.99 from what I've seen in store.

I believe this is in store only, I could not find anything on there website about it.

This is a better than average deal. They usually price Sony catalog titles at 22.99, and new releases at 27.99. So, $46 gets you 3 movies catalog titles ($15.33 each) or $56 for new releases ($18.66 each). Last time it included all Sony titles -- so new titles like Starship Troopers will be in this.

During the last sales Fred Meyers also had a $3 off any Movie coupon that they stacked with this deal -- so you can pick up the new titles in the deal for $24.99.

Last time around I combined this with a Sony mail-in rebate, and got 4 movies for $50 (Casino Royale, Superbad (free from rebate), A Few Good Men, and Fifth Element). I think Sony has since stopped the Buy 2 Get 1 free rebates (they ran like 4 different rebates back to back in 2007 and early 2008).

This time there is a $3 coupon also. At the end of the week there will also be a save $10 on food when you spend $50 in Home, Apparel or Electronics that you can also combine. The B2G1 applies to all Sony titles including new releases, so yes Starship Troopers will be included. The B2G1 runs through August 12th so your rewards coupons for this past cycle should be in your mailbox by then also. Finally Fred Meyer sales are never online because a third party runs our site. We're looking at getting involved with Amazon similar to what Target has going.

Is the coupon out already? Or should I be watching the newspaper for it. Also last time it was VERY hit or miss between stores. One of them it was ALL Sony titles, then another I went to they only had the 9 titles shown in the ad. Then again the first store wouldn't let me stack the $3 coupon....but the second did, and actually just scanned one they had sitting there without me needing to use mine lol

This is what I will tell you, but your milage may vary. All Sony titles that our stores have in-stock are covered by the B2G1. According to our coupon policy you can use the $3 coupon on them, which is already out (in the sunday ad). Coupons are not offered but if you ask for them, they are supposed to honer them.
