You got screwed.

I have never gotten an automatic price adjustment from Amazon.com, when I called once to ask for an adjustment I was told I didnt need to do it and that when it shipped I would be billed the lower amount automatically. Problem was when it shipped the price had gone back up and I got jack from em.

Always cancel and place a new order if possible... sometimes it is difficult if your using the free shipping thou.

However I do get automatic price adjustments when I shop from Amazon.JP when I do my imports from Japan.

I have always gotten automatic price adjustments from Amazon. Some have just been adjustments to the price before shipping and others have been credits after shipping.
