Aforementioned in blu-ray forums nothing exciting 'coz most of the titles were available at the listed price between Jan-Mar'2008.

In the Amazon Price Adjustments thread, these are some good prices, even if they are only lowered by a few dollars.

That's a pretty weak sale. Standard catalog titles, and only a handful under $20. I'll pass.

I agree. I get excited when I hear Amazon has a new BD sale, but I always find that it's either movies that no one cares about or movies that I want that are still over $23. For some people, this sale will be good, but I'm still waiting for a BOGO with newer movies.

wow... Amazon is seriously trumping Best Buy with the addition of the bold titles; it's like "oh, you wanna have a 16.99 sale? Watch this... BAM. 15 bucks."

Glad I didn't pull the trigger on anything yet; I'll still probably wait until June 2nd to see what all the Gold Box sale fuss is about... but definitely some titles worth picking up if you haven't already.

Anyone know how long these prices will last?

Im with you. The problem for us early adopters is that we have most, if not all of the titles listed. I want BOGOs on NEW releases...... otherwise, when I see threads about sales I dont excited because they are usually of no use to me. I mean, whyb is The Descent $21.95? What the fock? Thats just one example, but many of the titles would be buys for me... if the price was "really" a sale price.

Oh well
