Default Best Buy matching Target.com prices?

I know Best Buy will price match local competition, so I was wondering if anyone had any success price matching Target.com prices? Since they go through Amazon it'd be a rather nice price.

I price match on both target.com and walmart.com to Best Buy.

No problems, ever. The Best Buy in my area accepts printouts from online offers at a normal register, no need to go to the customer service counter.

same here...never a problem price matching at Best Buy. I like shopping there for the reward points, but their prices are high for the most part.

My local best buy matches whichever major stores are nearby which would be Circuit City, Target, Wal-Mart and I tell them it's on whatever stores website. Sometimes they don't even check to verify but I think it's because they already know me and all. Just be nice, calm and patient. Be confident and just explain that you'd like them to price match it as it closer to your home, more convienent for you and also that you want to build up your reward zone points. For me, it is usually packed in most other stores and the best buy is usually calm so I just go in and out fast. Good luck!

Even Target doesn't price match Target.com, so YMMV.

My Best Buy does...but just to be safe each time, I print out the Target.com ad and then white out any reference to amazon and then make a copy of that. Works like a charm.

There's a difference between the two Web sites. Target.com for movies IS Amazon, while Wal-Mart is Wal-Mart.

I would do the following:
1. Make sure there's a Target and/or Walmart within 10 mile radius (YMMV on distance)
2. For Target, just print the page of the item, not the shopping cart. The shopping cart usually has Amazon large and in plain site.

I've had very little problems with Walmart and Target PM's and both BB & CC.
However, if you are going for the 110% PM deal, make sure the item is actually In Stock.

Not according to the management of my local Wal-Mart. As a rule, Wal-Mart doesn't match Wal-Mart.com either.

Walmart's official policy is they do not match Walmart.com. Best Buy and Target have the same policy, however if you get the right checker, you can sometimes get them to do it anyway. More often than not though they won't.

Got BB to price match Wal-Mart.com's price on my Canon digital SLR. They asked if it was available for store pickup, and that was the deal clincher. If it's online only, odds are good it's going to be no. If it's bought online with a store pickup option, they'll usually price match it. Saved me $100.
