Got the following deals at Futureshop and Price matched Sig electronics's

Sigs prices

Bullitt - $10 - Price @ 8.30
The Messengers - $13 - Price matched @ 10.80
Blood and chocolate - $13 - Price matched at $10.80
HellBoy - $15 - Price matched @ $13.60
Day of the Dead - $15 - Price matched @ $13.60

just thought id share, there are other movies on the Sig site, like...

Rocky - $15
Dracula - $15
Rambo - $13

The prices are already great - but the price matching makes it so much better

Awesome. I was wondering if futureshop would recognize them. I guess they do because Sig is a canadian store. Well i guess i can now do a price match for movies like I Am Legend which cost too much at futureshop.

i wasn't able to price match sig at futureshop or best buy, because the sig stuff is limited overstock and they aren't an authorized dealer to boot

Yeah this happens some times
I had a problem at one BestBuy, where the sales manager started to rant and rave about policies - What an A$$

Anyways, i find that FS is generally move forgiving about this sort of stuff.

My FutureShop agreed to price match but the catch is that they would add shipping to every single title i price match.

That means each title cost + $7 for the shipping for every price match no matter it is from the same store ! He said its just store policies that they will have to add the shipping costs !

Thats a bunch of BS, bring them to the site and show them that the "Cash Price" is always 50 cents less, they probably think that its online only. If they have a "Cash Price" that must mean its a retail Store and there is no shipping needed. Then point them to the retail location on the lower left of the website

This shut up a BestBuy rep once form me!

This should work if you are in the GTA. I can see the point is you are in Sudbury or something.

I hate people like that, its like the damn thing is coming out of their own pockets!

I was kind of wondering if BB or FS would PM outside of Mississauga & Richmond Hill and I suspect not but I guess it would not hurt to try.

sig is all overstock, they buy up overstock from retail stores

which is how they are able to sell for so cheap, and why their stock is so limited and usually doesn't come in until at least a few weeks after the release comes out

futureshop and best buy's policy more or less says they don't price match these kind of stores

fortunately their site doesn't say how limited their stock is, but anyone who has used their site knows they often will only get 1 or 2 copies of titles at a time
