Smile Golden Compass - $20.99 @Frys

Just bought the Golden Compass 2 Disc Blu Ray set at Frys, here in Fremont for $20.99. The actual price on the box is $28.99 but the label under the display advertised it at $20.99. There was a glitch as the computer did not ring it up at $20.99 the first time but after I had the cashier check the display, she went to customer service and had the price changed. Not sure how long this is going to last.

Is this all we can expect now? Taking advantage of a computer glitch or a labeling mistake so we can get a good deal on BD.

No
it is not a bogus post. I have the 2 disc dvd that I bought today. And NO. it is not a computer glitch. They had not updated their machines to match the label under the display which they did when I bought my disk (12:15 pm today). They had about 10 copies in the Blu Ray display. I do not have any desire to post for the fun of it - just felt that those in the Bay Area could take advantage of the pricing.

If the item did not scan at $20 and you had to get an overide to match a secondary (probably erroneous)price tag, you got a one time deal for yourself alone.
Many stores such as wally have this policy to honor a lower price if erroneously marked, or marked with 2 tags
&i have benefitted from this many times in the past

Its only a deal if everyone gets the same price
