the bd/hd dvd combo player is 499.99 this week in best buy..I have a 12% off coupon making it 440..plus 100 in gift cards for my hd dvd players making it 340.00........very tempting except I hate Samsung and the way I got screwed with the 1200 player...but at 340..maybe

Do you really need a dual format player? If not, I would pass and get either the Panasonic BD30, or upcoming BD50.

The 12% coupon will not work if the players is on sale, check the fine print.

Go for it, just be aware of its limitations. But hurry, stock appears low and yea, the coupon usage will be denied on sale items.

I just bought one off of Amazon for $399.99 last week. And from what I can tell from the research I did supplies are low and the options for a future combo player are slim to none. $340, I say go for it.
