Blu-ray Buy 2, 1 Free @ Barnes and Nobles!

http://video.barnesandnoble.com/coll...&cds2Pid=17646

I havent seen any posts or news for this, so here goes. They are a little expensive but they offer much better titles than Amazon's recent Buy 2 get 1 Free offer.

Enjoy!

Holy crap, Walk Hard at $43.95 for non-members? They can't possibly be selling any at that price.

This hardly qualifies as a bargain. Take a look at the numbers.

I picked the first three movies listed at Barnes & Noble and compared the prices to Amazon.

300
Barnes & Noble: $34.99
Amazon: $22.99

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
Barnes & Noble: $35.99
Amazon: $22.95

Ratatouille
Barnes & Noble: $31.49
Amazon: $22.95

Total cost
Barnes & Noble (B2G1 sale): $70.98
Amazon (regular price): $68.89

You would save a few bucks ($5.01 to be exact) if you're already a member of their secret club; otherwise, it's a sorry excuse for a sale.

I applied a code that took off 25% of the price so I got a sweet deal, and besides does $5.01 really hurt? Come on, its not that bad.

They're offering better HD titles though.

Yeah for that title they are way too off, but they offer over 200 titles, out of all the selections thats the only one thats interesting you?

I don't even think Walk Hard applied for a B2G1 in the first place, so why stress it.

Well, I was just commenting on their prices, since you yourself pointed out that their titles are expensive.

I do appreciate the heads-up on the sale though

If you're a member, you use a 25% off coupon, and you buy 3 movies with the same list price, it works out to 48.33% off of list price for each movie (before tax). It's not a great deal, but it's better than Amazon's standard prices.

Considering all their Blu-rays are $35-40, this is a very bad deal.

I agree. A terrible deal. Why bother posting?

I wouldn't say that ... for example, three great movies:

Ratatouille + No Country for Old Men + Gone Baby Gone

Amazon: $67.85
B&N w/ this deal: $56.68

Both have free delivery. You're more likely to pay tax on the B&N purchase, but you're still paying less than Amazon.
