does anyone know more or less how long it'll take to get 5 free blu ray mail in rebate movies? I sent mine in today the 15th of january 2008 and the online order form states to allow 8-10 weeks for delivery but noticed some people stating they've gotten them in as short as a month or a little over a month. Just trying to find out when to more or less expect them..

I just sent mine today and I am an Amazon customer. I will keep you all posted to see if they honor my rebate.

Default Amazon

I called Amazon, and Amiel said that if any Amazon customers were denied, they would provide the movies themselves.

I have been putting off sending my free disc offer form in because of this. I just got around to calling the toll free number to see if I was eligible since I had bought my PS3 from an online retailer. The operator said that it doesn't matter if your receipt is from another state. She said it was misinformation and the only thing that mattered was when it was bought and when its postmarked.

What's the number to call them and check the status of your movies?

I doubt it. The receipt would say it was for a 40gb, while the UPS would indicate 20gb. That is more than enough reason to deny you.

They received mine 2 weeks ago ( I sent it with tracking) but they could not find my order in the system. The woman told me that it takes them about 4 weeks to input the orders and for me to call again in another 2 weeks from now ...WTF!!

Frag

PS: Bought the 40GB from Amazon in early Jan...hopefully they dont deny the claim cos of amazon

Sent mine in a couple days after Christmas, just called and I'm in the system but they are still processing the order. The CSR told me to call back in two weeks.
