Default $16.99-$19.99 Blu-Ray Titles At HMV Canada

I just popped into an HMV today and noticed they had some Fox and Lions Gate Blu-Ray titles on sale. Some of the $16.99 titles included: T2, Basic Instinct, and First Blood. There were quite a few Fox titles at $19.99 including: The Day After Tomorrow, Transporter 1 & 2, Kingdom of Heaven, Night At The Museum, and X-Men: The Last Stand.

All the fox titles you listed have been $13.99 @ fry's for a while. The deal is online too. I think Night At The Museum is part of it but I might be wrong.

These are prices for the Canadian HMV stores. HD media is pretty expensive in stores like Best Buy and Future Shop up here, so to find titles like The Day After Tomorrow, Night At the Musuem and X-Men: The Last Stand for $20 is a pretty good deal, especially since even Amazon.com usually has them for $27.95

Good deal, I wish we had a more complete list of the 19.99 movies, I hope Edward Scissorhands isn't on it, I just paid 32 bucks for it!

Thanks for the post rayzor!

Actually now that you mention it, i believe Edward Scissorhands might have been one of the titles on the rack....i now recall that Saw, Robocop, and Eragon were also titles on sale.

Aren't those just for boxing week sales? I know I picked up a couple of $20 BD's at future shop just a couple days ago.

It's a Boxing week sale. Ends Dec. 31.

And to answer a question above, Edward Scissorhands is definitely one of the titles. So is From Hell. There are also many HD DVD titles on sale as well.

I was impressed by the selection/price (especially from HMV). This was one of the better hi-def media sales in Canada this holiday season.
