Yeah, the coupon didn't scan for me either but it worked for Casino Royale and Cars, which were both $20 sale items.

Also, I got pricematched for Superbad and Ratatouille, which I bought last week at $29.99, no questions asked. Just give them your receipt (maybe circle the items to PM to help them out) and they should be able to credit the card you used or hand you cash back if you paid cash.

I actually got $10.90 back (tax back on $10 at IL's 9%) which was a nice surprise.

Cars was on sale?? I must have missed that! I didn't see it in the ad, and I didn't notice it while I was there. I could've easily overlooked it, though. I may have to go back for that one...

Ack, sorry - Cars was not part of the $10 off discount this week. My bad.

The $20/off coupon worked for Cars too, but they charged me the $29.99 for it.

Incidentally, it's $19.99 at Amazon.com now if you want to pick it up for $20.

I didn't think so! And I forgot that it's $19.99 at Amazon right now... I just might do that. Thanks for the reminder.

Ooooh, I hope one of my local stores puts out Con Air early. I was specifically hoping to pick that up along with the two new Resident Evil releases with the BB coupon that expires on January 7.

bring the ad, from the other store that you want them to price match, to customer service and ask them if they can price match something for you... they will only price match something that clearly states a price... they do not match promos that include anything free, such as B1G1, B2G1, etc...

Used the $20 coupon (manually typed in) on Departed, Layer Cake, and Pan's Labyrinth for 59.97 plus tax. Not too bad. Worked, no problems.

Wanted Superbad, Pan's, and Ratatouille, they were out of Superbad and Rat. I didn't know you could raincheck, weak.

Exactly. I mean, if they don't list it, what are you matching?

Their price matching policy clearly states that they'll match any *advertised* price (and for some items, give you the difference + 10%).

No, not exactly. You are permitted to print out the page that shows the price from a store's website -- provided that this store ALSO maintains a local presence in your area as well, i.e. Circuit City, Target, Walmart, Fry's. Also, theoretically Best Buy should be able to call this local competitor and verify that the item is in stock too.

This is only partially accurate, as described in my previous post. "Advertised" prices are not limited to the current week's flyer. As long as it is from a local, brick and mortar competitor, a print-out from a website is perfectly acceptable.
