For last weeks buy 2 get 1 free deal at CC, they had jack of titles that were supposed to be free.

Picking up an ad, heading over to best buy, they always have it, and for me they price match the ads without question

According to the poster over on Blu-Ray.com, the sale is unadvertised, and not listed in this week's ad. It looks like it was a last minute decision to compete with BB, Target, Fry's, etc.

The sale is in store only.

My store had the sale. There was a sign in the Blu section listing everything available for B1G1.

I got:

Chicken Little
The Wild
Open Season
Dinosaur
Click
Gone In 60 Seconds

For around $95.00 with tax.

Yeah, the sale is legit. I had to go to the TV guys and they where able to find a print out and give me a copy of it.

Unfortunately CC's selection was terrible so I took there ad to bestbuy and got um all there for the price match.

My circuit city didn't know anything about the promotion. So instead I went to Best Buy to pick up Pirates 2 and Prestige but also found out that they had an extended list of what was B1G1 which included quite a few of the extra Circuit City titles. BB also had a number of titles for $14.99, one of which was the Fifth Element (bought it as well).

This is a freaken hardcore attempt not to lose the weekly sales numbers vs transformers. Insane sale i have to think it will work.

Oh, it will work. I went to Best Buy today not knowing about the sales. There was almost nothing left on the Blu-Ray shelves.

Default Interesting development...

So in the system, the promo not only halves the price of Blu rays, but also HD-DVD's as well. And titles that aren't even on that list. The package may have downloaded incorrectly and may be fixed later, but as of right now I have a stack of 18 discs across both formats that I got for HALF OFF. Every title I tried was fair game, even last weeks releases. Fucking amazing.

This definitely seems like an error in CC POS. I just purchased 8 titles (5 Blu, 3 HD) for ~$120. The only catch seems to be that it only qualifies for titles $29.99 and under. At least thats what I think as it didn't count for Children of Men or The Ultimate Matrix Collection (would have been sweet) which are 34.99 and 99.99 respectively.

Anyway have fun everyone.
