That cover/poster kind of looks like it would be for Looper.

Did anyone confirm if these are the same encodings from the last Die Hard blu-ray set? I recall reading that there may be a 4k Die Hard remaster at some point.

How do you get the reward code? Just ordered it. Maybe it will be a seperate email.

It says you will get an email within 48 hours. So if you were going to see the new Die Hard anyways, this set is pretty much just $15 then.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that these are basicly the same discs w/ extra bonus features included.

That said, I picked up this set for $14.99 when Best Buy had it for 19.99 + U&S promo. It came with a ticket on the outside of the packaging to see DH5.

I ordered this set after seeing the abysmal A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD, because I have no interest in owning the inevitable set containing all five movies. AGDTDH is the Crystal Skull of the series, or the Rocky V, as one reviewer called it.

Also, I believe these are the same BD transfers that came along originally. But since I only owned LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD (unrated), I figured $25 was a good deal for the DIE HARD collection. I hear it isn't the unrated version of the last installment, though.

The review I read on the HDD blog said it was a pretty good movie, better than Live Free Or Die Hard. To me, I got the impression LFODH was like Rocky V, and AGDTDH is like Rocky Balboa (in terms of franchise quality). Then again, it was the only review I read so far.

It looks like it is still on sale for $29.99, still a damn good deal.

I just watched the 5th one and it was alright. Nothing special (and not as redeeming as Rocky Balboa was for that series), but not bad either. It was more "die hard" style than the last one. I would put it lower than the third because it's the same kind of thing as we've seen before and it didn't have Samuel L.

Really disappointing that the unrated cut of part 4 will not be included in this set though.

I don't mind it as much because I probably won't watch part 4 again

I might go watch part 5 tonight

So much animosity for Die Hard 4. Not sure why. Compare these reviews: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/live_free_or_die_hard/

    To these:http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/a_good_day_to_die_hard/

Pretty sure Live Free or Die Hard is the better film. And one of the franchise's best reviewed.
