I've always wanted to have a complete box set but I hated how the DVDs were released in randomly ordered packs of 7 (i think) and even by the time I could afford them I knew DVD was on it's way out so I waited and hoped for a good HD boxset and finally it's arrived. And 50% off is just insane. I simply couldn't help myself. Can't wait for the marathons.

The DVDs were crazy in price (more than this for some of the first sets) and they always randomly put together a few movies.

Figures, at $150 it's only $25 more than Amazon UKs price, I went to cancel my UK order but it was already shipping soon.

I was planning to buy the remaining 9 separately, but just canceled Walmart orders and got this. With shipping and or driving to Target and Best Buy (who of course wouldn't have them in stock) this is probably the same or cheaper. Too good a price to pass up!

I requested a cancellation, but they rejected it. I hope you are right though.

I did the same thing. I had this pre-ordered at Amazon with the exclusive poster book. Was going to go with that until someone elsewhere mentioned that it was possibly not the full book. Plus I can order the book later on separately if I want.
Opened up a new account at CH last week and decided to fulfill with this. -

Best Buy had this at $150 with free shipping before Amazon but now it's newsworthy.

I love it when I see my preorders constantly dropping in price. This is great news as now I can afford to get The Dark Knight Returns on Tuesday.

Was this originally 199$ or something like that on Amazon? Maybe I am just crazy but I do recall that is around the original price it was going for. Glad to see it at 150$ though whether it just changed or has been for a while. Thanks for the heads up, been sitting in my account for a while :]

It started out at $199 when I preordered it. Then it had dropped to $186 back in June I believe. Last week it went down by $2, then two days ago it was lowered to $179, and now it is $150. Hell, there is still time for them to drop it even more if they really want to. I doubt they will though, but now I feel really ripped off by the Indiana Jones set. I mean, I paid $70 for four movies when for $80 more I am getting 22 movies.

Yea, I agree on that. Even 200$ for 22 movies is 9.09$ per movie basically (which is close to 7$ bin). I'm holding off on Indie, I love the movies..but I'm hoping maybe a black friday or holiday sale. If not, the price should drop and there wasn't anything too special or exclusive that I saw anywhere with it.

Now why couldn't they have released a set like this years ago when they started putting them out on Blu-Ray and never finished? As cheap as this is on a per movie basis, its still $150 for only two movies I don't have and want. So unless the box drops to $30, I'm sitting it out.
