The pre-order is up at Best Buy's site for $59.99. Combine with their current promotion for in-store pick-up and receive $10 as a savings code, emailed to you up to 5 days after pick-up, which can be used on a future purchase.

Awesome. Even if Amazon PMs in time, doubtful they'll match the $10 savings code for future purchase... Hopefully there won't be tons of lame restrictions on using the code. Canceled my Amazon (prime) order! Especially since it was probably about to ship soon.

I thought about that, but upgrade-and-save is in-store only and if they convert your online order to in-store to apply the coupon it might disqualify you for the code, which is supposedly emailed to you only after you complete the pickup.

Exactly. It's hard enough getting Worst Buy employees to honor coupons and such, nigh impossible to ask them to apply both promos. Has anyone done this?

I don't see why it wouldn't work. With the $5 coupon, the item is still over $50.

But with an online order you have already paid for the item. In order to apply a coupon in store, the item would have to be returned and rebought, negating the $10 promo. I asked about applying a coupon for an online order I placed awhile back(year or so) and was told what I stated above.

Great offer - I see AMZ matched the base price. The BB closest to me closed up shop so unfortunately the offer is less enticing. The next nearest BB (40 miles or so) isn't even a BB - it's like a half-sized joke of a store.
