Did the same. Just how accurate DD's system is remains to be seen, besides the questionable pricing this is also mentioned on their product page, LOL:

Well, poop. I ordered this the instant I heard about it, which was before the drop to $34.99. So now I am impatiently waiting for my order to adjust itself per the pre-order guarantee... Which, 3 days later, still has not happened...and I've always been told (and observed) that it is normally a matter of within 2 days (which in the case of an item that ships before release date, is 2 days after release date).

So I decided I would see what was up and start up a chat... I didn't learn anything.

SERVICE REP: I have checked that there is not fixed date we can expect and I request you to please keep checking on website it will be updated soon.

Yep, I'm that guy...the squeaky wheel trying to get the grease. I told them I would be happy to keep patiently waiting. Part of why I bother them is that it used to be they would just manually adjust things for you (so then I could just stop thinking about it like an OCD freak), but lately they must be trying to put a stop to that and let the system work things out itself whenever possible.

If it really started to bother me I'd normally keep quiet, and cancel/re-order, but in this case I suspect I may not be allowed to use the coupon again. Oh well, Amazon has never failed me before!

Unless you watch camel^3 you have no way of knowing the price dipped ever, so relying on the preorder guarantee should not be your only strategy.

I watch "that other" blu-ray site like a hawk (seriously, I need help), so I would see it.

If anybody is wondering, I decided to try cancelling the order to see if I could still use the coupon again on a new one -- and you can. It gave the coupon back to me as soon as I cancelled.

DD has been known to be unreliable, slow with shipments or cancel orders altogether...but at this price, I'll bite.

If enough people tell Amazon about DD's lower price, maybe we'll get an even better deal. I've already submitted my feedback (fingers crossed).

Got the shipping notice from DeepDiscount today with tracking number, a whole 1 week before the official release date. Wow, that means it could take that long to arrive, more or less. Either way, my order is on its way.

AMZ's price remains unchanged at $34.96 before coupon. I'd expect it to drop slightly pending PM to B&M stores, but don't expect them to match DD. Will probably cancel my AMZ order by end of the week.

Well both Target and BBY's price will be 27.99 before any possible coupons. So if Amzn matches, that would put it at DD's price(provided you got in on the cpn).

That is wise of Amazon to PM the B&M's now and not wait until later. $19.99 (after coupon, which I got) is a great price any day of the week for a new 3D release, and Disney no less! In my case, the tax from AMZ makes DD a better deal.

BTW, my last shipment from DD (on the Tinker Bell 3D pre-order) arrived right on time, on release day. So things may be looking up for this retailer.
