Default Flying Monsters [Region Free] 3D-BD + BD $15 shipped at AMZ UK

Amazon UK's most recent email shows a few highlight deals, the one that caught my attention though was Flying Monsters [Region Free] 3D BD + BD narrated by David Attenborough, shipped for about $15. AMZ US has the same title for $25.32.

As some of you may know though, I have an issue many times with cover art. Although the U.S. cover art is not horrible, it's in one of those cases that the art does not cover the whole front, the UK version looks like a Digi-book (??) or slip cover. The U.S. version includes a dvd of the film as well, but for $10 more I will pass as I would likely never pull the dvd out!

    UK Cover First, then U.S.:

Judging by another image on the product page, it looks like a slip cover (LINK). BTW, that side profile image makes it appear that the pterosaur's tail ends with a head, but it's just a separate pic on the spine.

A very tempting blind buy and mainly because it's Sir David Attenborough! We need more of his documentaries on blu. Thanks for the heads-up, Krawk!

Confusing to me though is the 2D version is 1080i while the 3D is 1080P (??) - it also says 1 disc. I assume it must have a menu as some players choke if you try a 3D disc in them. Oh, and on cover of the UK edition I notice a sticker - I have had great luck using a hair dryer to remove the hard to pull off stickers.

I noticed a suggestion on AMZ US of Safari 3D - funny enough, the U.S. site says it is a region free import selling for $13.49. The UK site sells it for £13.39, not exactly a bargain in this case. A £ does not equal a $

Where does it state 1080i for the 2D version, source? On the back cover, it's 1080i for the special feature, which is the 50 minute making-of documentary (which also happens to be in 2D).
