Heads up! The sale is live and stacking with the buy 2 get 1 free right now! They'll probably kill the b2g1 sale soon so get in there while you can.

I was surprised too see the free third disc deal working on top of the 50% off deal. You can really stock up right now.

How do I get the buy 2 get 1 deal? Is it a coupon code, does it show up at check out, or did I already miss it.?Had 5 titles in my cart, but can easily make it 6.

Got in one order for 3 for $43.78 (after tax) before they killed the B2G1 deal.
Too bad as I was about to place another order for 6 more. Oh well.
Thanks for the heads-up, SaturnT! -

It appears to be gone already. The discount showed automatically until about 1:30 am CDT.

BTW, here's a link you can use to quickly browse all of the Criterion blus during this sale.

I may end up buying more in the end (likely)...ugh, decisions decisions. -

This code worked for me today.
I ordered the following:
A Night to Remember
Anatomy of a Murder
Certified Copy
Cul-de-Sac
Down by Law
La haine
Late Spring
Samurai Trilogy
Shock Corridor
Sommaren med Monika
Sommarlek
The 39 Steps
The Letter Never Sent
Welt am Draht
I had a bunch of GC and unfortunately, DUMB B&N only allows you to use 3 GCs per order. How so lame. They really tick me off sometimes.
I was able to split the orders to cost average down the 19.99 movies to $16.50. Quite a nice price for these Criterions.
Happy shopping everyone. -

I just ordered Fear and Loathing and Rushmore (both of which I already have Criterion DVDs of). It hurts a little to be rebuying these for $20 each and no new content, but I think ultimately it's the $2.22 in sales tax that kills me. I moved from Oregon three months ago and I feel ripped off every time I pay it.
RIP Kosty you are missed. -

I got Samurai Trilogy, La Haine, and Godzilla. I want more, but going to wait a little while and see if a 7%-15% coupon code shows up since the 15% off off one item can only be used once.
By the way, you can also apparently get 2% cash back if you shop at B&N through Ebates.com.Last edited by Landy; 07-10-2012 at 10:39 AM.

Totally forgot about ebates, UGH!
Oh well. I'm fairly happy with what I paid for these movies, considering the sales on Criterion are pretty much twice a year and these prices generally beat Amazon's sale prices.
As a previous poster stated the sales DOES piss me off as well, but the final price is what I am willing to pay.
As a sidenote, a month ago I bought I Compagni Criterion blu ray. I was shocked to find inside it only contained a fold out leaflet on the film. I usually expect a nice little booklet with these Criterions. -

Is this deal in-store also? Or not?

Yep, I used Ebates.com for the extra 2% cash back as well. Wouldn't mind seeing any new coupon codes during this sale. Keep in mind though, Ebates usually doesn't combine cash back when coupon codes are used per their policy. YMMV.
Both in-store and on-line. I'm planning to swing by my B&M to see what's available, esp. since I can use my 10% member discount on top of the sale. -

^ If you mean the member discount, unfortunately yes, in-store only. But as mentioned earlier, perhaps B&N will offer up some new coupon codes for on-line use (crossing fingers). Sale runs through the entire month of July, so you never know!

Are the movies marked down in the store at all? Is there any visible sign that there is a sale?
