Dvd2Blu is baack again!
Just caught this in my email today, looks like dvd2blu.com has returned with the same rules as most recent.
Convert ANY commercially produced dvd video (NO ADULT TITLES) to a shiny new Warner Blu for as low as $4.95 per title. FREE Shipping on orders over $35
Select the movies you want, print out the prepaid label, pack your discs (no case needed) and mail. Last time I did this it took about 3 weeks to get my Blus.
I'm going to browse now to see if they have expanded their catalog of available titles. -

nothing new that i can note, and the trade-in price for season sets is the same (plus hassle) as they are in best buy stores.

Hoping to get a new cult for Christmas. Already tired of playing with the last one. -

I just looked at the list and noticed pretty much the same selection. Wonder why they haven't expanded it much, as they have since released many "budget" titles.

Agree, my DVD collection still numbers in the hundreds...just waiting for the right reason (decent HD xfer, price, selection, etc.) to make the switch. This is not it.
Yep, same ol' same ol'. This may be good for those starting their
collection, but for enthusiasts (like HDD) the conversion factor has to be compelling enough to make the switch. Instead of catalog titles, why doesn't WB make it worthwhile with more recent movies available at a discount? Imagine how much more business they'd get...I'd do it. Surely some knucklehead should've thought of that by now.

I own like 30 HD DVD's and there's only three that I really feel that I need to replace. Batman Begins, Casablanca, and Blade Runner. I broke down and bought Batman yesterday to get the steelbook and the movie money. Its a shame I could have given them my HD copy to get $5 off on top of that.

It never went away. Every couple of weeks I check the site, and sometimes try red2blu.com (which redirects to the same site). Maybe they are promoting it again, but it has been available since they first launched it.
And I have never seen the titles the offer change.Sony KDS60A3000

According to an email I received today, over 150 new titles have been added. List shows 201 titles total. Can't confirm nor deny but for those who check this site more often, perhaps something worth trading or mentioning to the rest of us?

Prices on some of the stuff still isnt that good, its $5 a piece to upgrade the Austin Powers movies, but I just bought the whole trilogy at Walmart for $8, sure they arent in individual packaging but its the same discs in one set. Supernatural I just got the Bluray set of season 6 and 7 for $16 from Amazon over black friday and if you wait a little bit you can get them cheaper than upgrading through this offer. Which is why I havent really bothered, there are a couple that I would like to do, Christmas Vacation and Elf are up there now and I still have the DVDs of those, will probably upgrade them when I get the chance

You don't need to exchange like-for-like anymore. You can trade ANY dvd (as long as it was commercially pressed and non-adult) for any title on the list. If there are movies on the list you'd be willing to pay $5 for, it doesn't matter what discs you offer them in exchange.
