$5 and under Blu-rays are becoming the norm for some older releases
As the Blu-ray format becomes more mainstream $5 and under Blu-rays are becoming the norm for some older releases
Amazon still has the cheapest prices compared to retail stores. Amazon offers free shipping with no sales tax in most states plus some older Blu-rays for around $4. No retail stores have Blu-ray titles that cheap yet.
Just recently I was surprised to see Blu-rays that use to cost $20-$30+ at retail stores a few years ago for only $5.00 nationwide at Walmart and Target. Plus Best Buy Blu-ray’s were the cheapest at $4.99. Best Buy also offers free shipping on any size order if one does not want to drive to their local Best Buy store. There are around a dozen Blu-rays offered for $5 nationwide with Target appearing to offer the biggest in store selection. Movies range from family movies to R rated action movies. Movies like the Ten Commandments 2006 remake can be found at Walmart and Target for $5.00. Best Buy has the Perfect Storm Blu-ray for only $4.99 plus free shipping which is based on a true story. The Perfect Storm also has 3 outstanding audio commentary tracks to listen too while watching the movie.
Target and Walmart have a lot more $5 Blu-rays too choose from online compared to what they stock in the store (Best Buy also has more $4.99 Blu-rays online now):

Im loving cheaper prices for Blu's. I had no intention of buying Sherlock Holmes but when I saw it for $12.99 I jumped all over it.
I hate every ape I see, from chimpan-A to chimpanzee. No, you'll never make a monkey out of me!
