Hey sunstar715, I tried finding you on the BD-Live network but the system failed to find you by that name. When you log in by chance does it tell you that you're Guestxxxxxx? If so could you give me that SN? I'll probably be able to find you that way. I hope Disney get's their user name situation worked out soon, I keep trying to change mine to Locutus465

I keep trying to but the system kind of still a work in progress. Since they won't let me use my HDD UN I'm trying to use Locutus465 and it keeps pretending to change but then for some reason not changing. But yeah, keep trying, in the mean time if you could put your Guestxxx name in that would be great.

I just reactivated my Disney account in preparation for the movie night. Go to http://www.disneybdlivenetwork.com Go to user profile and you can set your screen name which is different from your login. The BD-live login can be the same account and password as Disney movie rewards. I just set HDDjcc as my screen name.

There is also a BD-live calendar that shows scheduled BD-live events, although it is apparently not available yet. Is says "coming soon"

Well I've got my wall-e on order with amazon... I'm also still not having a lot of luck with the new BD-Live software so I'm hoping this is sorted by next friday. I'll try to get y'all added as soon as I can but I have a feeling that I need to do this on the player it's self, thus far I've had zero luck finding anyone on the website.

Ok, I caved in . .

Got a copy of Wall-E fairly cheap off a newbie on eBay, who shipped before I even paid; UPS tracking says it's due in next Tuesday, 12/9.

Signing up at disneybdlivenetwork.com wasn't the hassle at I expected at all - I signed in with my Disney Movie Rewards email & password and the only verification required was to click the link in the confirming email - no age verfication at all (I guess they figure someone who redeems DMR for a stuffed Mickey Mouse can't be all that bad )

It took CochiseGuy as my screen name, but for now I'm Guest 43036. I sent you a friends request, crazetto. Count me in the for Wall-E Movie night 12/12, and TDK 12/19 - IF Amazon ships me pre-order out in time with free shipping.

Sounds good Cochies, I'll do my best to deal with your friend request from the web or hopefully with more bd-live reinstall attempts from the player.

Well, reading this thread I've just set up my account yesterday on the Dark Knight BD, there's a lot of content right now, most notably some animated comics and trailers. Hope you can get started if I save you the hassle of having the physical BD in your player.

Just one thing, BD LIVE is only for the U.S., so, you must fill the form saying you live in the U.S., and physically be in the US when doing it (or using an IP Blocker ). If not, You won't be able to register.

The process was this:

1. First thing you see is the login page. I was prompted to subscribe. I selected "Yes" and an e-mail was sent to me, to fill all my data. I hope you can use the link in the mail, here it is:

2. Once I registered, I had to confirm the service by login in through the BD. However, you can also Log-in through the Net by using this link:

3. Now you've activated your account, you have to activate the community screenings and BD LIVE commentaries, which are made through a computer with internet access and a webcam/mic. When you select in the BD, all it does is send you the following mail to set you up.

Well that's a dissapointment about warner's system only being for the US, hopefully our friends abroad will be able to find ways around the unjust restriction.

Ok so I just spoke with disney support at: 1-800-723-4763

For starters getting through to a rep was easy and efficient, further the support reps were knowlegeable and helpful. I called from the office so I really haven't been able to try any solutions to the BD-Live issue I'm experiencing yet, but I'm very happy with how the call was handled. In particularly I was happy with the fact that the support rep communicated to me that he would send this information directly to their BD-Live networking department for analysis and that they would contact me if they find a solution to the problem.

The "debugging" they suggest is as follows

1) format (again in my case) the USB flash memory
2) unplug player w/no disc in tray for 15-20 minutes
3) try to reinstall disney BD-Live software.

I intend to try this tonight and will report back as far as how successfull it was. Some of you have recently friended me or have your UN's online here will probably find out when I start confirming friend requests, making true friend requests and requesting new friends.
