Default NBC Will Provide 242 Hours of 3D and 3,500 Hours of Streaming Olympic Coverage

No matter what sport you're into you'll be able to catch all the action. The big ones will be viewable in 3D.

Can NBC really have that many 3D cameras?
Or, will this be fakey 3D?
Where would all that 3D content be shown on cable?

Great news! For us!! And 3D!!!
    Hope it all works out.
...they are the same damn movies...

After the stinginess of their last Olympics coverage, I have very, very low expectations, especially now that Comcast owns them.

And on top of that, you have to consider what your provider will be charging for access to their 3D content....

When UVerse had ESPN 3D, it was $10 for that one channel

UVerse has a "free" 3D Olympics channel. I just have the basic 100 channel package, and didn't have 3D access, but have it now for the Olympics. It's nice, but the quality suffers for begin SBS rather than full frame 3D as on Blu-ray. They showed the opening ceremony repeatedly for the 24-hours after, then they have highlights of popular competitions.

I am also appreciating the Soccer channel, but that is 2D

Netflix streaming (now in 3D), Amazon Prime
