Any news on Phantom Menace 3D??

Was just wondering if anyone has heard anything about a possible 3D Blu release for this flick. Seems like we should have heard something by now. I heard a rumor that this may become a Panasonic exclusive to replace their Avatar exclusive. Hope this not true.

I do remember reading a quote from Lucas saying that if the 3D re release of this flick does not prove to be profitable it may be a one and done thing. Meaning he wont bother converting the rest of them to 3D. Have not read or heard anything more about this.

It definitely doesn't help that he converted what many consider to be the worst Star Wars movie. I think he would've been much better off starting with the original trilogy in 3D. I'd pay to see Episode 3 through 6 in 3D. No way I'd ever pay to see 1 and 2 in 3D.

I almost took my son to see it in the theaters but would of passed on the 3D since he takes off the glasses after about 20 min. I just didn't want to sit through that piece of shit again. Now if 4-6 do come out in 3D (and they will, he knows this is what we want to see and will make a shit load more money if he does) I will take him to those. But he has already seen those on blu ray and loves them. Now my daughter on the other hand thinks they are stupid. Something wrong with that girl.
