Ugh.. ok its fantastic that these films will *finally* be available at retail. The fact that they're retailer exclusive after all this wait is.. well comical at this point.

Good to see Dreamworks 3d titles getting a release without beyond the Samsung exclusive deal. Now all we need is avatar 3d to have most of the exclusive bundle 3d movies available to everyone.

Considering the fact that they fixed the aliasing in "Megamind" for both 2D and 3D on this disc, I'm sort of interested. I doubt it will be under $30 though, and I'm not that big of a fan to fork over CC money.

The major retail stores Walmart, target support of 3d is limited. Its hard to find any 3d movies in these stores, best buy gets most of the retail 3d movies, so for most people not shopping online best buy is the best place to buy 3d movies. So for them to have exclusively on these movies doesn't hurt the market so much as the other retail stores wont carry them anyway.

Great news, I just bought another 3D Blu-ray title (Monsters vs. Aliens) from a friend (only $30). Youpie!
I feel exclusive now!

I wish I didn't already already own all of this stuff on 2D Blu.....cant bring myself to triple dip on these movies. I guess I will have to wait for New 3D content.

I have the Samsung exclusives of all three, but will sell them for what I can get, and I'll buy the retail ones. Hopefully, Monsters vs. Aliens will have a lossless audio track, instead of just the DD5.1 track that came on the exclusive BD.

I consider it bad for the market because a truly large portion of early adopters use Amazon.com for Blu-Ray - and now 3D Blu-Ray purchases. This move forces people that have already been waiting month after month for these titles to go to Best Buy to finally be able to purchase them. That is, of course, the point of Best Buy's purchasing an exclusive window on the titles; turn online Amazon traffic into Best Buy foot traffic.
We, the consumers *are* the "market". Taking away consumer choice is, therefore, bad for the market
