Sale figures for Cloudy w/ a Chance of Meatballs 3D??
Does anyone know what the sales numbers were for "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" 3D on Blu-Ray??? I have a feeling the other studios are watching the numbers, to get a sense of how interested the public is in purchasing a standalone 3D BD.
Cloudy was officially announced by Sony on June 10th, with a release date of June 22nd.
So I hope other studios give us these short-notice surprises.
So far it seems like the next 3D standalone release will be in November (Toy Story 3 and Christmas Carol confirmed). No AVATAR 3D!! (standalone)

Sony has not released any sales figues for the title. It isn't going to be high, that's for sure because you need a 3D BD player and a 3DTV. If the title hit 10,000 I would be shocked.
And Sony may release Monster House and Open Season before November. The trailers on on the disc I believe.
Do not count on Toy Story 3 until possibly Xmas week if at all this year. -

Toy Story 3 is being rumored for a November 9th street date and it will come in a 2D/3D Blu, DVD, and Digital Copy edition just like Christmas Carol will.
