Mitsu adapter vs DirecTV
Anybody know if these are in fact compatible?
Reason I ask is my DirecTV HDDVR apparently polls my TV (KDS60 A3000 Sony), and will not allow me to record any 3D based on my TV not being a 3D tv. I assume it's just noting that it's not HDMI v 1.4. But that raised my suspicion regarding compatbility w/ Mitsu DLP and the 3DC-1000.
I wanted to at least record the 6/11 World Cup stuff, and be able to view it later when I get my Mitsu at the end of this month.
Any word? -

I was extremely excited to hear about the 3DC-1000 kit, as I am lucky enough to have a compatible TV. I've been bummed that I spent a ton of cash on a TV last year, thinking I'd have to do it again if I wanted to get any 3D action, but Mitsubishi hooked it up with this kit!

Nick, I have all new 73383 Mits, a Denon AVR with four inputs and one output and Panasonic 350 3D BD (throught the Denon) and an existing DirecTv with the 3D upgrade. My problem is when I turn the system off either via the AVR or individual Componests BD or Directv, the Mits does NOT configure it back to display the picture (except for afew seconds) and I often have to RESET (vial 10 sec power button prodess), then everything works fine until..................I turn the system off again and hve to through the same process again. All of 3D presentations work well, very well its the turning on process that is not working. Do you think I have a defective Mits 73383 set or some other anomaly that is causing this problem. Thank you for your assistance.

I have just received my dc-1000 kit. It works great with the side by side Cable signal. Does anyone have any information if it will work with the Cyberlink PowerDVD 10 software to convert 2D to 3D?

Does anyone know if the power supply that comes with the 3DA-1, 3D adaptor, proprietary,in that a generic power supply with the same voltage, amperage, and polarity will not power it up?
My 3da-1 won't power up and I don't have the origional power supply, so I tried a generic one. I'm trying to figure out if the problem is with the unit or the power supply. -
