I believe the theatres you are looking for are called "4K Digital Cinemas". I just did a quick google search and couldnt find a U.S. directory of theatres showing on 4K. I am sure if you check the movie listings in the areas you are visiting, they will advertise if use these new 4K projectors. If they dont say anything about them, they probably dont use them.
