Ok, I will.
Apple TV supports 720p HD movie rentals through iTunes. You can only rent the HD movies, not buy them. And the HD option only shows up when your using the Apple TV, it wont give you the option in iTunes on a PC.
As for Vudu, its always supported 1080p HD movie rentals, it says so right on their home page at vudu.com.
