Sure it will. For those that are HDTV qualified. Meaning they at least have a HDTV.
Drop the price they will buy. Does this mean that a SDTV household is going to rush out and move to HDTV - probably not.
My guess that this price drop is a result of product backing up on the docks. I've got no problem with that. Drop the price - move the gear. Not good for the CE but good for the consumer.
