I have the Onkyo 605 with 5.1 speakers. I have my PS3 set on Linear PCM. I have an HDMI cable from my PS3 to my reciever, and one from my reciever to my TV. What are the optimum settings to get the best sound out of your system? There's maybe one or 2 bluray movies that I've heard that sound extremely good on my system, Live Free or Die Hard, I Am Legend, and just a couple more. Alot of blurays out there come with good sound, but It seems like I'm doing something wrong and that I'm still not getting all the great sound my system has to offer. Anyone out there that has the Onkyo 605 that gets very very good surround from bluray movies. I would appreciate if maybe you could give me a break-down of all your settings to see where I can adjust mine and see if it helps.
