yeah, sony is for sure leading the way on this one... It's their stated goal to put the used game business out of business... I think at one point one sony exec stated that he seriously doubted that PS4 would have a hard drive....
Is this a bad thing? Honestly, I'm not really against it... As far as me selling games, the few times I've tried it I came to the conclusion that it just wasn't at all worth it... The main thing I would like to see console CE's add in if this is going to be the future (like wise with digital video downloads) is the ability to access your purchased games on a friends console. Like you could sign into your PSN account for instance, and download the content in a "guest" status accessable for a period of time or something.
